At the Pine Belt Down Syndrome Outreach, we support new and expectant parents as they navigate a Down syndrome diagnosis by offering encouragement, guidance, hope, and a sense of community. We provide complimentary welcome baskets filled with baby gifts and helpful resources, and we offer heartfelt bereavement gifts to families grieving the loss of a child with Down syndrome. Throughout the year, we host events that bring individuals with Down syndrome and their families together while also connecting them with essential services and support networks. Through strong community partnerships, we work to increase acceptance, and we empower individuals with Down syndrome and their families to advocate for positive change at both local and state levels.
